Mike Salmans - Operations Manager

Mike Salmans is Operations Manager of United Telephone, where he oversees the marketing and inventory teams.  Salmans was born and raised in Hanston, Kansas, and received his degree in Business Administration from McPherson College.

Before joining United in 1999, Mike lived in San Antonio (Texas) and Vallejo (Calif.) while working for Woolworth.  He also worked for two years at the Gibson's Discount Corporate Office in Dodge City before working at United.  Mike's favorite part about United is the "excellent community support and involvement" and the "great people providing great customer service."

In addition to his activities at United, Mike has served 12 years on the Hanston School Board and is a registered EMT and fireman in Hodgeman County.  He was previously IT Manager at United and still holds his Cisco Certified Network Professional certification.  Mike enjoys spending time with his family - three children (Jarred, Jayton and Jacelyn) and his wife, Kim.  Mike's hopes for United's future are for it to "continue to grow and change quickly with the technology surrounding communications."
